Aspris Fostering Services has been rated as ‘Good’ overall during their latest inspection by Ofsted.
The findings by Ofsted regarding the care delivered by our foster carers was overwhelmingly positive. The dedication and commitment to the children and young people in their care shone through and was rightly recognised.
In the report, Ofsted said: ‘Foster carers are committed to meeting children’s individual needs. As a result, the children are making good progress living with their foster families. Foster carers speak positively about the support provided to the children by the agency staff.’ And: “The achievements of the children and foster carers are recognised and celebrated.”
The inspectors praised the agency throughout the report: ‘This agency has always had very clear values and ethos. Foster carers describe ‘good-quality support’ and ‘high aspirations’ for children.’
The training provided to foster carers and staff was also highlighted. This included: ‘Foster carers and staff receive a wide range of safeguarding training that promotes child protection and positive parenting. This ensures that they have the knowledge and skills they need to care for the children well and keep them safe.’
Sally Gregory, Managing Director at Aspris Fostering Services, said: “We are delighted with the outcome of our recent inspection, which continued to highlight the fabulous work done by our foster carers and staff. What the inspection process evidenced to me yet again, was also the huge heart of this agency. Everyone contributed and represented the agency and what we all do best, providing stable and loving homes to children and young people. It is a real privilege to be part of this fostering family.’
